AI Tools I Use Daily

· 2 min read

AI has been mainstream for several years now and is quite mature, with many tools available. Trying new ones every day can be time-consuming. Here I’ll document the AI tools I currently use and their scenarios.

ChatGPT

I mainly use the PC web version/Mac App/iOS App. GPT AI is comprehensive and fast. When traveling, I sometimes subscribe to GPT Plus and use advanced voice features with AirPods, allowing AI to act as my tour guide and introduce historical stories of attractions.

GPT has strong comprehensive capabilities, including vision/Sora video generation/voice, so if you’re unsure which AI service to purchase, consider GPT first.

GitHub Copilot

I use Copilot for collaborative programming, and I particularly like using the Claude AI model since it’s relatively the best coding model. I recommend paying for Copilot - $10 per month isn’t expensive. Make sure to configure data privacy properly to avoid data leaks and security issues.

I previously used Cursor for over six months, but considering stability and pricing, I decided to switch to Copilot. In terms of user experience, Cursor is still better.

NotebookLM

Just released for iOS/Android, so it’s now cross-platform. I currently use it for document analysis, but I’m still in the learning phase and don’t use it very frequently.
